One of the most frequently asked questions we receive at SAMI about our profession is, "what do you do?" Just like many professions, it is a loaded question. The short answer is "anything it takes to run an association."

As an association management company (AMC), we provide management expertise and specialized administrative services to associations in an efficient, cost-effective manner. SAMI is structured to best serve small to mid-sized international, national, and state associations with comprehensive management. Some associations might not be large enough to sustain full-time staff or the cost of overhead expenses such as rent, equipment and technologies. Others might be volunteer-driven and no longer have enough time to perform daily administrative tasks such as processing membership dues and answering member inquiries.
