Structure:
SAMI is an association management company, founded in 1986, providing
management and administrative services, including staffing, complete
office technology and a business location in Milwaukee. SAMI offers
comprehensive, cost effective services to associations, under the
association management concept.
Client Service Model:
SAMI develops a management program to meet the specific needs of your organization. A key staff contact is assigned to provide ongoing management, with staff specialists provided for desktop publishing, web services and special projects. Open communication with clients is a top priority at SAMI and is critical to the success of the management/client relationship. A representative of each client organization is provided a monthly activity and expense log. The activity log details the time of SAMI staff on behalf of the client including date, time, activity performed, committee or program area and the name of the Staff member performing the work.
Experienced Staff:
SAMI has an experienced staff of nine, including three account executives; four account coordinators, graphic designer, financial coordinator and web specialist. Our staff has provided quality, professional management to international, national, state and local associations for the last 22 years. SAMI staff holds memberships in the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), Wisconsin Society of Association Executives (WSAE) and Institute of Association Management Companies (iAMC) and regularly attend meetings of these groups. SAMI President Jane A. Svinicki, CAE, has received her Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation.
Target Market/Associations Served:
SAMI manages 22 associations in a variety of professions and industries. SAMI is structured to best serve small to mid-sized international, national, and state and associations with comprehensive management. When SAMI provides complete management services to a client, they receive the best and most efficient delivery of services.
Facilities/Equipment:
SAMI offers professional office space, the latest office technology, including laptop computers and portable printers for on-site meetings, the most recent versions of all commonly used business software applications, and co-location web server to host client web sites. The SAMI computer system is fully networked and includes a daily computer back up of the server, stored off-site.
Each client is provided a unique phone number answered with the name of the organization. The SAMI phone system is carried over a T-1 line with 24 channels of voice service. SAMI can receive and answer multiple calls to each clientĄ¯s phone number simultaneously. All SAMI clients and staff have unique voice mailboxes on the phone system. Each SAMI staff have direct dial phone numbers for easy accessibility.
Brand Identification:
Supporting the brand requires that every item presented to the membership and public reinforce the image and values of the organization. SAMI offers organizations in-house graphic design, print production management, web site development and maintenance, and the latest technology communication tools. This internal control insures the brand is consistently presented.
Confidentiality & Conflict of Interest:
SAMI will maintain the confidentiality of all records, files, rosters and statistical data, which will not be distributed without prior approval of the Board of Directors of the client. SAMI staff also recognizes that all communications among members, directors, officers, and Staff is held confidential at all times.
Review of SAMI performance:
SAMI staff will be reviewed each year with discussion on meeting performance objectives. Clients will receive an annual summary report of hours used by activity and staff in addition to a monthly time and activity log.
